Reboot

And she’s back.

I’ve had this blog for years, keep fooling around with it, sometimes forgetting about it for months at a time, went off and started a few other blogs, didn’t like them, and kept coming back to the mother ship nanettethorell.com.  Which is, after all, who I am.  It needs to be also what I am about.

So I begin again, only this time – having in my head, a clear picture of what I want to do, and how I should proceed. Let me take a sec to extend kudos and props to Jeff Goins at IntentionalBlog.com for the fantastic and comprehensive course on starting a new blog, or ramping up a stale blog.  I highly recommend this.  It’s easy to follow and not too scary.

Here is who I am.  And this blog is about an independent woman, living in rural America who is holding down a ‘regular’ job and supplementing her income by selling things online. And maybe telling a few stories, documenting her adventures in DIY, and occasionally sharing random thoughts that pop out of her head without any regard to who is reading and how it might come across. Sound familiar? There are a bunch of us out there. This is for them. For us.
